In a further commitment to the future Robbin Engineering has just invested in both New Computers and the latest AutoCAD software for the Drawing Office.
The speed we will get from these latest processors will keep us in the forefront of technology, and more than able to cope with the multiple functions and demands made of the machines by the software used in the modern drawing office. These days we can easily have five, six or more programmes open simultaneously, including down loading and up loading drawing to and from our clients project web sites.
As for the drawing programmes, we have used both StruCad 3-D modelling and AutoCAD at Robbin for many years. The StruCad programme is often up-dated, but the new machines will mean better use of the latest StruCad ‘evolution’.
This new AutoCAD package will allow us to interact freely, and on an equal footing, with our clients, Architects and Engineers, and the new deal will ensure we keep up to date.
Overall this new package will enable us to go forward with confidence that we are on the button with our technology, and the extra workstation we have set up will allow us to expand further and help realise the full potential of our new premises.
